The Eskdale Inn is a traditional village pub situated close to the railway station on the road entering the village of Castleton. The Eskdale is the ideal location for walking or cycling in the surrounding countryside and a stopping off point for the coast to coast. We also make an ideal base for exploring the moors & coast not being too far from York, Helmsley and Pickering inland or Scarbrough, Whitby, Robinhood's Bay and many more along the coast.
We offer a relaxed & friendly atmosphere in the bar with wood burning stoves & pool room.Outside we have a beer garden and a quoits pitch.
The Pub serves real ales, regulars being Black Sheep & Tetleys plus a Guest Ale and is listed in the Good Beer Guide.
We are in the local Pool, Darts & Quoits leagues and support our local cricket teams.
Our pub is open 7 days a week 12 to 11 pm.
